School Excursions
Student groups are invited to learn, play, and connect in our beautiful outdoor classroom. Forest School excursions are suitable for classes ranging from reception to year 7.
Our expert educators deliver hands-on experiences in bushcraft, wildlife observation, Indigenous stewardship and cultures and environmental conservation.
Excursions meet Australian curriculum learning outcomes and content descriptions across various subject areas, including Science, Geography, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures, and Health and Physical Education. By engaging in activities such as bushwalking, plant and animal identification, and hands-on environmental projects, students not only deepen their understanding of these subjects but also develop important skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork. Our program encourages students to connect with nature, fostering a sense of stewardship for the environment and promoting holistic learning experiences that resonate far beyond the classroom.
Excursions are available Mon-Weds throughout the term.
