School Excursions

Embark on a journey of exploration and discovery with Forest School SA's exhilarating school excursions! Forest School excursions are suitable for classes ranging from reception to year 7. Immerse your students in the wonders of nature as they learn, play, and connect in our beautiful outdoor classroom. Our expert educators deliver hands-on experiences in bushcraft, wildlife observation, Indigenous stewardship and cultures and environmental conservation.

Excursions meet Australian curriculum learning outcomes and content descriptions across various subject areas, including Science, Geography, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures, and Health and Physical Education. By engaging in activities such as bushwalking, plant and animal identification, and hands-on environmental projects, students not only deepen their understanding of these subjects but also develop important skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and teamwork. Our program encourages students to connect with nature, fostering a sense of stewardship for the environment and promoting holistic learning experiences that resonate far beyond the classroom.

Excursions are available Mon-Weds throughout the term.

Get in touch to find out how our program can fit into your unit plan.
